Texas Estimating provides professional construction estimating and takeoff services to contractors, subcontractors, builders, developers, and project owners in Texas and across the U.S. Our services are exclusively for bidding purposes helping you submit accurate, competitive, and winning bids. Our service offerings include:

  • Preliminary Estimating: Early stage cost estimations to plan your bids.
  • Material Takeoff Services: Detailed lists of quantities for accurate budgeting.
  • Xactimate Estimating Services: Precise estimates for insurance and remodeling projects.
  • Remodelling Estimating Services: Specific estimates for renovation projects.
  • CPM Scheduling Services: Project timelines to ensure efficient planning.

Important: All estimates and takeoffs are supported for bidding. They are not final construction contracts, guaranteed costs or binding agreements.

Estimate Accuracy & Disclaimer

Our estimates are prepared by experienced, certified estimators using industry standard software and the latest pricing data, including RS Means and Texas specific cost databases. Texas Estimating is not liable for financial loss, bid failures, or cost differences arising from these variances. All estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Please note: All estimates are approximations. Actual project costs may vary due to:

  • Material and labor cost changes
  • Local Texas market fluctuations
  • Revisions to project scope after estimate delivery
  • Incomplete or outdated project drawings
  • Permit requirements or unique site conditions

Client Responsibilities

We are not responsible for inaccuracies caused by incomplete or outdated client documents. To ensure accurate estimates, clients must:

  • Provide complete, clear, and current project plans in PDF format.
  • Communicate the project scope, location, and any special requirements.
  • Inform Texas Estimating promptly of any plan revisions or changes.
  • Review delivered estimates within hours and report concerns.

Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure

Your trust is our foundation, we never compromise it. We treat your project information with the highest level of confidentiality:

  • Our team is bound by strict internal confidentiality policies.
  • Your project details will never be shared without written consent.
  • Client information is never shared with competitors or unauthorized parties.
  • A formal Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is available if required.

Payment Terms

  • All prices are in USD.
  • Invoices are issued after quote acceptance.
  • Late payments may delay delivery or suspend services.
  • Payment is required before project delivery, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Quotes are negotiable; we encourage discussion before finalizing.
  • Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other agreed options.

We may update pricing at any time and changes will be communicated before new projects begin.

Turnaround Time

  • Standard delivery: 5-12 hours for most projects.
  • Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.
  • Larger or more complex projects may take longer; timelines are communicated during quoting.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete client documents or circumstances beyond our control.

Revisions & Change Requests

  • Revisions must relate to the original scope and drawings.
  • Changes to scope after delivery may incur extra charges.
  • Requests for revisions must be submitted within 5 business days.
  • We handle revisions promptly to support your bidding deadlines

Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website including text, graphics, logos, service descriptions, and methodologies is the property of Texas Estimating.
  • Delivered estimates are for the purchasing client’s use only for bidding purposes.
  • Estimates may not be resold, redistributed or reused without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Maximum liability is limited to the fee paid for the specific estimate. Texas Estimating is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages from using our services
  • Lost bids, contracts, or profits
  • Decisions made without independent verification
  • Errors caused by incomplete client information

Privacy Policy

We do not sell or share your data with third-party marketers. Please see our Privacy Policy page for full details. We protect your personal information. Data collected through our website (name, email, phone, project details) is used only to:

  • Respond to inquiries

Governing Law
